Hope you’re doing well.

I was browsing through Linkedin and your profile popped up. You may be a great fit for my company’s podcast. My business partner Adam Torres interviews business owners, entrepreneurs, and professionals asking them to share their journey with our audience.

We’ve interviewed 3,000+ guests and our platform reaches over 500,000 people monthly. The phone interview takes 15-20 minutes. You will have a chance at the end of the interview to leave your website contact info etc. Listen to past episodes so you can get a feel for the content if you’d like: https://missionmatters.com

There are no costs to participate and you can apply to be a guest here:

We look forward to hearing from you.

Have a great day,

Chris

Chris illegally buys mass email generated lists and then illegally spams thousands of people from fake domains and email addresses pretending he found them by accident and wants to interview them

Received the below email today. Mission Matters seems to be a legitimate organization and the links seem to be accurate and genuine, so I am truly perplexed as to what this guy is playing at. Thoughts?

Sent directly to spam.. note the difference between missionmatters.com (legit) and missionmatterspodcaster.com (unreachable as a domain) If they used that domain they would certainly redirect it to their main website. So I call BS.. although I would make for a lovely podcast talking about if I could rule the world :)

Same as others, exactly the same email. No one should be able to obtain my email is LinkedIn so clearly the email was obtained either buying mass email list or fraudulently.

*The vast majority of people listed in this database are just “normal” business people, therefore no negative connotation is insinuated nor should misdeeds be assumed based on existing in our business directory. Our underlying goal is exposing misdeeds and fraud, but to accomplish this we often must first identity “honest” business people. This is because of things like similar names, impersonation, copyright infringement, and other reasons. Thus, the vast majority of people in our database are not being accused of anything shady. For this reason, profiles are now “noindexed” by default until comments exist on any given profile, since many of them are unnotable.
