Beware of these latest fake websites being run by the “Thai Visa Centre” gang, the same gang who ran the asq.in.th fake quarantine hotel website during COVID. This is now clearly their favorite tactic for growing their database of expats and tourists passing through Thailand, by pretending to be Thai government websites and then asking for personal data.
Feb 8, 2025 at 4:01pm #39070JessicaGuesteta.in.th is especially dangerous because when tourists are hurrying to travel and looking for the Thai ETA arrival card info, they will think it’s a government site.

I’ve seen some discussions about the ETA arrival card and Thai DTV visa on FlyerTalk so I’m passing along this warning to anyone planning on visiting Thailand soon. There is a group called “Thai Visa Centre” who are aggressively spamming links around social media and travel forums trying to make them look like official Thai government websites. Because starting in 2025 you must complete the ETA arrival card before arriving in Thailand. The other site tries to appear like the official homepage of the DTV visa for digital nomads.
Keep in mind that only websites ending with “.go.th” are the official websites from the Thai government. Anything ending with “.in.th” or “.co.th” or even just “.th” are privately owned.
The American expat who runs these websites has previously been arrested for visa forgery and dealing drugs. Several expats have complained that their spamming operation also somehow knew their full name, passport info, visa status and where they lived in Thailand, in order to try and sell them fraudulent visa packages (likely acquired via corrupt Thai Immigration officers).
He has also been accused on Reddit of stealing at least one person’s identity, threatening and harassing people, and filing fraudulent police reports against people who complain about his scams.
Please do not share or click on these links, and only use the official Thai government websites whenever applying for Thai evisas (otherwise contact Thai embassies).
