A few of us have tried to warn the community on the Thailand forums but one of the Destination Experts (moderators) keeps deleting it as spam, he is tied to the Thai Visa Centre team and apparently doesn’t want anyone to know this.
Well this website “dtv .in .th” I don’t want to link, it a 100% fake website trying to deceive visitors to Thailand into paying Thai Visa Centre for the DTV Visa instead of using the official eVisa portal that is provided by the Thai government. And they are spamming this link on dozens of topics on the Thailand forums trying to trick tourists into using it.
There is only one official website for applying for the DTV Visa and it’s here:
Hopefully we can get the word out to the TA community because they are very aggressively spamming this link all over the internet. Stay safe everyone.

Mar 14, 2025 at 9:48am #39244AnthonyGuestIt’s really sad, if you check Tripadvisor forums from 10 years ago they are full of warnings to tourists about scammers. And in the past several years they just started allowing moderators to censor all kinds of stuff and allowing full on spam links too
Very anti-consumer now
