    As a follow up to my other topic, I thought the expat community in Thailand may want to know that this website asq.in.th (recently shut down by Thai NCSA but now redirecting to asq42.com) is illegally scraping your names, photos, and content from multiple Facebook groups, including private Facebook groups, and using it for SEO purposes.

    Besides the potential copyright issues, posting personal photos of people online without their permission is now illegal in Thailand.

    There are hundreds of Facebook group topics with thousands of comments being scraped and then published on this website, and at the bottom of each thread it recommends a certain “visa centre” regardless of whatever the content of those threads was. Example: https://archive.ph/rvxGx

    If you find your personal name, photos, or content on this website and don’t give your permission, you might consider filing a police report with the Royal Thai Police or contacting a lawyer.
